Developed timeline for development and release to graduate safety-oriented POC to full product. Led team of six developers and designers to bring new FieldAlert product to market. Led design of application's wireframes and InVision mockup and assisted in user research. Investigated emerging technologies such as AR/VR, Bluetooth Beacons, and wearable devices to identify potential opportunities for them in industrial spaces.
Designed activities and materials for STEM summer camp for middle school girls. Created week-long curriculum focused on building up understanding of basic circuitry principals, cumulating in a dazzling LED necklace and re-programmable step counter for campers to bring home
Co-wrote and published paper about how Wearable Devices course was designed and executed, and reflections on what changes would be made given the chance to iterate on the course. I presented our paper at the 47th SIGCSE Technical Symposium on Computer Science Education.

Helped architect and implement extensible graph-based storage solution for asset-related data and protocol for edge devices communicating with Predix cloud. Took on TPM and scrum master responsibilities and led team’s bi-weekly meetings and stand-ups to drive productivity and good agile development practices.
Heped lead recruiting efforts at the Grace Hopper Celebration for Women in Computing. Helped recruit students at booth, administered coding challenges, and co-organized a nighttime mixer for over 100 attendees.
Developed new chart types to meaningfully display an asset’s time-series data using Polymer web framework. Led research and execution of creating flexible SDK for securely monitoring user activity across single web app that utilized multiple web frameworks.
For excellence in experimental computer science and outstanding contributions in enhancing the software development skills of others
Taught course in wearable design aimed to introduce students with software-driven backgrounds to basics of digital and analog circuitry. Co-Lectured on a bi-weekly basis to a class of 28. Led classroom discussion and hands-on in-class 'workshops'
Responsible for planning and leading labs, assisting students during office hours, and grading homework assignments. Helped design new programming assignments to replace those previously used in course

Designed course aimed to introduce students with software-driven backgrounds to basics of digital and analog circuitry. Developed course trajectory and calendar. Planned and wrote all assignments used in course, as well as visual information sheets/handouts. Handled course budget and requisite course materials list. Designed low-cost kits catered to material covered in course.
Responsible for planning and leading labs, assisting students during office hours, and grading homework assignments. Guest lectured in Web Programming for classes on HTML/CSS and Responsive Design.
Worked on UX scrum team to create a new feature for the developer-facing product. Conducted user research, planed and implemented feature, and further refined feature based on user testing and feedback.
Built using C# and Unity; Using the Kinect, Kinected Graphs allows the user to traverse a database of many-to-many relations in a 3D environment, navigating nodes by hand. Each entry in the database is a node within a web of relations, that you can explore via gestures on the Microsoft Kinect. For any given node you can see a summary of its contents as well as all connected nodes which, when touched, will be snapped to center and have their information displayed. While demoed with Wikipedia, this application can be extended to any graph-like database, whether it be your Facebook network, exploring music genres, or even traversing your local file system. It’s a whole new way of interacting with your computer and your data! Link to DevPost
This is a service that offers the entrepreneurial crowd an opportunity to help one another succeed with their pitches. Unlike services like hacker news or product hunt, Elevate collects anonymized demographics about the users that submit ratings. This allows the budding entrepreneur to learn about the audience they are reaching, and any thoughts that audience may have. Link to DevPost
